FAQ
Will the domain change affect service availability?
No.
There will be no specific impact, and you can continue to use the service as usual.
The transition to the new domain in your environment will take effect after you log in, following our internal system update.- We transition to the new domain internally
- User logs in (or re-logs in)
- Environment switches to the new domain
- Data migration dialog is displayed.
Note: You can continue using the service on the current domain until you log in after step 1.
- Will there be any changes to network ports or IP addresses?
No.
There are no changes to network ports or destination IP addresses for voice traffic. - Is any action required for external integrations like Salesforce?
No.
Changes on the external service side are not required for this domain change.
If you are using MiiTel Phone for Salesforce or MiiTel for Salesforce, it will be necessary to register the new domain in Trusted URLs and update to define a call center on the Salesforce side. However, nothing is required right now.
We will provide a separate notification regarding these additions and changes in Salesforce later. Will this affect external integration services such as Salesforce activity history?
After the domain change, the URLs for call history and meeting history registered in the Salesforce activity history will be the URLs for the new domain.
However, activity history created before the domain change will not be updated to the new domain URL (it will remain at the current domain URL). After changing to the new domain, if you click on the old domain URL (history URL) registered in the activity history, the corresponding history of the new domain will be displayed. (When you click, the MiiTel login screen may be displayed.)- Is it necessary to change Single Sign-On (SSO) settings?
No.
No changes are required at this time. - Do I need to update bookmarked MiiTel URLs in my browser?
Yes.
While old URLs will automatically redirect until approximately April 2027, please register the new URLs once you confirm that the browser address bar has changed to *.miitel.com. - Is any action required for JavaScript Widget, Outgoing Webhook, Incoming Webhook, or MiiTel Open API?
No.
In the future, you will need to switch to URLs corresponding to the new domain, but no action is required at this time. We will provide a separate notification about these changes later.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, and thank you for your understanding.
