[Important] Change of MiiTel Service Domain

To ensure the stable provision of the MiiTel service, we are currently in the process of changing our system configuration.
Along with this change, the MiiTel service domain will be changed sequentially starting from February 2, 2026 (Mon).

Customers who currently allow communication to MiiTel by domain (e.g., via a whitelist) on their network, and customers using the MiiTel Phone Mobile or MiiTel RecPod, are requested to confirm and complete the actions described in "4. Customer Action Required" by February 1, 2026 (Sun).

Even after the domain change, accessing the old URL (current URL) will result in a redirect to the new domain URL within the MiiTel system for a certain period. Details on actions required before the redirect ends will be announced separately in advance.

1. Change details

The MiiTel service domain will be changed as follows:

  • Current: *.miitel.jp
  • New: *.miitel.com

    • Example) MiiTel Service Screen URL: https://.miitel.jp → https://.app.miitel.com

2. Scheduled domain change date

Sequentially starting from Monday, February 2, 2026

3. Customers requiring action

Action is required for customers who fall under any of the following categories:

  1. You allow communication to MiiTel by specifying a domain

    • This applies if you have configured communication permissions to MiiTel by specifying a domain, such as registering MiiTel communication on a whitelist on your network.
  2. You are using the following versions of the MiiTel Phone Mobile:

    • MiiTel Phone Mobile for Android v.3.1.11 or older
    • MiiTel Phone Mobile for iOS v.3.1.9 or older
  3. You are using the following versions of the MiiTel RecPod:

    • MiiTel RecPod for Android v.25.10.01 or older
    • MiiTel RecPod for iOS v.25.10.01 or older

4. Customer action required

Deadline: February 1, 2026 (Sun)

  1. Allow Communication to "*.miitel.com"

    • If you have configured communication permissions by specifying a domain on your network, please add the following setting. For details on the settings, please check with your company's network administration department or equivalent:

      • Allow/permit communication to *.miitel.com.
      • Do NOT delete the currently configured *.miitel.jp; continue to keep it allowed.
  2. Update MiiTel Phone Mobile

    • Please update MiiTel Phone Mobile to the latest version.
  3. Update MiiTel RecPod

    • Please update MiiTel RecPod to the latest version.

5. Future Schedule

  • Until February 1, 2026 (Sun): Please complete the actions described in this announcement.
  • Sequentially starting from February 2, 2026 (Mon):

    • The domain will be changed.
    • The first time you access the MiiTel service after the domain change, local data saved in your PC's web browser will need to be migrated. Details will be announced separately in January 2026.
  • After April 2027:

    • The redirect from the current domain to the new domain will be terminated. Details on actions required before the redirect ends will be announced separately in advance.

To enhance security and provide a more secure experience for MFA (multi-factor authentication),
we are temporarily suspending the email-based MFA.
Please use an authentication app for MFA.

We are improving the email-based MFA and will offer it as an enhanced service.

We will notify you when it becomes available again.

We are currently conducting compatibility testing for macOS Tahoe and iOS 26.

We have completed compatibility testing for iOS 26, and it is now a supported OS for MiiTel Phone Mobile and MiiTel RecPod.
・MiiTel Phone Mobile for iOS v3.1.11 or later
・MiiTel RecPod for iOS version 25.08.11 or later

macOS Tahoe is still undergoing compatibility testing.

We are currently conducting compatibility testing for macOS Tahoe and iOS 26, which are scheduled for release in September 2025.

Once testing is complete, we will announce these as supported operating systems.

  • MiiTel
  • MiiTel Phone Mobile for iOS
  • MiiTel RecPod for iOS

TPlease refrain from updating to macOS Tahoe and iOS 26 as the above systems and apps may not function properly until they are compatible with the OS.

Please note that iOS 26 is supported from the latest version of the app.

Therefore, when using iOS 26, please update the app to the latest version.

  • Users who use MiiTel on Mac
  • Users who use MiiTel Phone Mobile for iOS⁠
  • Users who use MiiTel RecPod for iOS⁠

Please add a permission policy to support S3 bucket in overseas regions through Amazon S3 integration

Regarding Amazon S3 integration, we will support S3 bucket in regions created after March 20, 2019,
starting October 2, 2025 (Thu).

In conjunction with this change, please add a policy (s3:GetBucketLocation) that allows the retrieval of region information to the permission policy used for Amazon S3 integration.

Currently, customers using regions created before March 19, 2019, can continue to use the integration without adding the policy. However, explicit permission will be required in the future.

We will notify you again when this becomes mandatory.

If you are using the following regions, you can continue to use the integration without adding the policy at this time.

  • Asia Pacific (Tokyo)
  • Asia Pacific (Osaka)

“Switch Product Menu (Beta)" is now available on MiiTel Analytics

We have added the “Switch Product Menu (Beta)" to MiiTel Analytics.

From the MiiTel Phone Analytics screen, you can switch to the MiiTel Meetings (RecPod) Analytics screen or MiiTel Admin screen by using the “Switch Product Menu”.

“Switch Product Menu” is available by clicking Try the new menu on the current MiiTel Analytics screen.

“Switch Product Menu” contents will be different depending on your subscription status or admin permission settings.
If you are subscribed to either MiiTel Phone or MiiTel Meetings (RecPod) but do not have admin permissions, the “Switch Product Menu” will not be available.

You can now check the average outgoing ring time for operators.

Outgoing call ring time: Time from the operator dials a customer's phone number to the customer answering the phone.

Average outgoing ring time = Total outgoing ring time ÷ Total number of outgoing calls

We will be performing a system maintenance on the following date and time.

All customers using the services above.

Expected Impact:

  • You will not be able to access the services above for about 15 minutes during the maintenance.
    ・If you are already logged in, you will automatically be logged out, and the maintenance screen may be displayed.
  • While you don’t have access to MiiTel Phone and MiiTel Phone:
    ・You cannot make or receive calls.
    ・If you are on a call, you can continue.
     ◼︎ After you finish the call, you won’t be able to register call memos, comments, or related parties.
     ◼︎ Please set the call memo, comments, etc., from the call history (MiiTel Analytics) after the maintenance is finished.
     ◼︎ You may experience a delay in creating the call history or integrating with external services.
  • While you can’t integrate with external services:
    ・Email notifications about phone calls and Slack integration service will not be available.
  • If you miss a call during the maintenance:
    ・If your circuit type is not JPN-7, the missed call will be on the call history list.
