The following updates have been made to the "Scheduled Maintenance: February 2 (Mon), 2026, 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM (JST)" originally published on December 22.

  • The maintenance window has changed:

    • Before: 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM (JST) / 1:00 AM – 2:00 AM (WIB)
    • After: 3:00 AM – 3:30 AM (JST) / 1:00 AM – 1:30 AM (WIB)
  • The service downtime during maintenance has been shortened from 30 minutes to 1 minute.
  • The scope of impact has changed.

[Important] Please transfer local data when the MiiTel service domain changes.

To ensure service stability, we are updating our system configuration and will be migrating the MiiTel service domain from *.miitel.jp to *.miitel.com starting February 23, 2026 (Mon).

When you log in to MiiTel for the first time after the domain migration, you will need to transfer the local data stored in the web browser of your computer. (This process moves local data from miitel.jp to miitel.com.)

Since this data is stored locally in your web browser, it cannot be migrated automatically by the MiiTel system.

Therefore, when the "MiiTel Old Domain Settings Data Transfer" dialog box appears upon logging in to the service, please follow the steps below to complete the transfer.


Timing of Action Required

When the "MiiTel Old Domain Settings Data Transfer" dialog box appears on or after February 23, 2026 (Mon).

  • MiiTel Analytics
  • MiiTel Call Center
  • MiiTel Phone (Desktop version)

How to Complete the Transfer

Step 1: Enable Microphone Access (MiiTel Phone only)

When logging in to MiiTel Phone, if a dialog box asking for microphone access appears, click Allow while visiting the site.

After clicking, the "MiiTel Old Domain Settings Data Transfer" dialog will appear. (Note: Message wording and appearance may vary depending on your browser or OS.)

Step 2: Execute the Data Transfer

When the "MiiTel Old Domain Settings Data Transfer" dialog appears upon logging in to MiiTel service, please follow these steps to transfer your data:

  1. Check the Dialog Box
    The dialog will appear automatically if the transfer is incomplete.
  2. Start the Transfer
    Click Transfer Data.
  3. Confirm Permissions
    When the browser displays a confirmation dialog regarding data usage, click Allow.
    Important: Clicking Block will prevent the transfer. Please ensure you select Allow. (Message wording and appearance may vary depending on your browser or OS.)


Step 3: Verify the Completion

The confirmation message will differ depending on the service:

  • MiiTel Analytics / MiiTel Call Center:
    A message saying "Data transfer completed." will appear at the bottom of the screen.
  • MiiTel Phone:
    Your migrated settings will be displayed. Click Check Settings to review or Close to start using MiiTel Phone.

Important: MiiTel Phone requires microphone permission in your browser.

If the above message appears, click the icon to the left of the browser's address bar and turn on the Microphone. Then, click Reconnect in MiiTel Phone. Alternatively, please refer to the guide: "Check if the browser recognizes your microphone device".

If the microphone or speaker settings are highlighted in orange, it may indicate:

  • The configured microphone or speaker is not connected.
  • A different device (microphone, speaker) was selected before the data transfer.

    Please click Check Settings to ensure the correct devices are selected in MiiTel Phone.

If Data Transfer Fails

If the data transfer could not be completed, an error message will be displayed.

Please click the link in the message or refer to "How to manually verify and configure legacy domain settings" to manually reconfigure your settings.

MiiTel Synapse Standard subscription is required for the Create a follow-up email feature

Starting at the end of March 2026, a subscription to MiiTel Synapse Standard will be required to use the Create a follow-up email feature.

This change is part of an upgrade to the generative AI model used for this feature. We are transitioning from the model used for MiiTel Synapse Lite to the high-performance generative AI model used for MiiTel Synapse Standard. This upgrade will allow for the creation of even higher-quality emails.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to customers currently using this feature, and we appreciate your understanding.

If you wish to continue using this feature after the end of March 2026, please consider upgrading to or subscribing to the MiiTel Synapse Standard.

“Ask AI (beta)” feature is begging discontinued.

On March 31, 2026 (Tue), we will discontinue the “Ask AI (beta)” feature in Call History.
With the recently released feature to ask Copilot across multiple call histories, you can now ask Copilot about several call histories at once.

Going forward, please use either “Chat with Copilot” or “Consult Copilot.”

  • Calls received during the maintenance window will not be displayed in the call history list.

About incoming call  (MiiTel Admin > Incoming call rule set in the incoming call filter)

All actions in the Answering rules applied to the inbound call filters will not function during the maintenance window. (This means all actions configured in the answering rules, such as voicemail, automatic forwarding, sound playback, and IVR, will not function.)

All actions in the Answering rules applied to the Incoming Call Filters will not function during the maintenance. (This means all actions configured in the answering rules, such as Voicemail, Automatic call forwarding, Play sound, and IVR, will not function.)

MiiTel Meetings

  • Video bot cannot join a meeting during a meeting (cannot record).
    • With the Google Calendar integration and the Microsoft Outlook Calendar integration, you can have the meeting bot join automatically (and record).
      *The bot name may be different from the name you set.
      * Recording indicator does not work.
    • Zoom meetings using Zoom integration can be recorded.

MiiTel Admin、MiiTel Phone Analytics、MiiTel Meetings / Recpod Analytics

  • Unavailable
    • If a CSV file is scheduled to be created in storage during the maintenance period, or if the file is being created when the maintenance starts, the CSV file will not be created.
      * For CSV files that were not created, please create them from storage after the maintenance is completed.

MiiTel Call Center

  • Unavailable

MiiTel RecPod

  • Functions other than recording are not available.

Incoming Webhook

  • Requests submitted during the maintenance will not be reflected even after the maintenance is complete.
    • After the maintenance is finished, please resend the request from the sender or upload the file from MiiTel Analytics > Call History or Meeting History.

Outgoing Webhook

  • During maintenance, this functionality is inactive since call history cannot be created.

[Important] Change of MiiTel Service Domain

To ensure the stable provision of the MiiTel service, we are currently in the process of changing our system configuration.
Along with this change, the MiiTel service domain will be changed sequentially starting from February 23, 2026 (Mon).

Customers who currently allow communication to MiiTel by domain (e.g., via a whitelist) on their network, and customers using the MiiTel Phone Mobile or MiiTel RecPod, are requested to confirm and complete the actions described in "4. Customer Action Required" by February 22, 2026 (Sun).

Even after the domain change, accessing the old URL (current URL) will result in a redirect to the new domain URL within the MiiTel system for a certain period. Details on actions required before the redirect ends will be announced separately in advance.

1. Change details

The MiiTel service domain will be changed as follows:

  • Current: *.miitel.jp
  • New: *.miitel.com

    • Example) MiiTel Service Screen URL: https://.miitel.jp → https://.app.miitel.com

Sequentially starting from Monday, February 23, 2026

3. Customers requiring action

Action is required for customers who fall under any of the following categories:

  1. You allow communication to MiiTel by specifying a domain

    • This applies if you have configured communication permissions to MiiTel by specifying a domain, such as registering MiiTel communication on a whitelist on your network.
  2. You are using the following versions of the MiiTel Phone Mobile:

    • MiiTel Phone Mobile for Android v.3.1.11 or older
    • MiiTel Phone Mobile for iOS v.3.1.9 or older
  3. You are using the following versions of the MiiTel RecPod:

    • MiiTel RecPod for Android v.25.10.01 or older
    • MiiTel RecPod for iOS v.25.10.01 or older

4. Customer action required

Deadline: February 22, 2026 (Sun)

  1. Allow Communication to "*.miitel.com"

    • If you have configured communication permissions by specifying a domain on your network, please add the following setting. For details on the settings, please check with your company's network administration department or equivalent:

      • Allow/permit communication to *.miitel.com.
      • Do NOT delete the currently configured *.miitel.jp; continue to keep it allowed.
  2. Update MiiTel Phone Mobile

    • Please update MiiTel Phone Mobile to the latest version.
  3. Update MiiTel RecPod

    • Please update MiiTel RecPod to the latest version.

5. Future Schedule

  • Until February 22, 2026 (Sun): Please complete the actions described in this announcement.
  • Sequentially starting from February 23, 2026 (Mon):

    • The domain will be changed.
    • The first time you access the MiiTel service after the domain change, local data saved in your PC's web browser will need to be migrated. Details will be announced separately in January 2026.
  • After April 2027:

    • The redirect from the current domain to the new domain will be terminated. Details on actions required before the redirect ends will be announced separately in advance.
