Release Updates for the Week of March 16, 2026

The following updates were released this week. 🎉

MiiTel Phone

  • Phone Desktop Released MiiTel Phone Desktop v.3.7.4 (night of Mar 18)
    We have reviewed our internal processes from the perspective of performance and stability.

MiiTel Meetings/RecPod

  • RecPod Released MiiTel RecPod for iOS v.26.03.12 (morning of Mar 19)
    We have reviewed our internal processes from the perspective of performance and stability.
  • RecPod Released MiiTel RecPod v.26.03.10 (morning of Mar 16)

    Starting with this version, the following updates have been implemented:

    • It is now easier to see recording history that has not yet been uploaded to MiiTel Meetings / RecPod Analytics, helping prevent missed uploads.
    • Recording history uploaded by users to MiiTel Meetings / RecPod Analytics (limited to recordings made with MiiTel RecPod) can now be checked and played directly in MiiTel RecPod.

      Also, you can now use a link to open the recording screen in MiiTel RecPod (Deep Link feature). For more details, see MiiTel RecPod Deep Link (iOS / Android).

  • Specification change Renewed how to link speakers (users and guests) to utterances for meetings (night of Mar 18)

    From the meeting history screen in MiiTel Meetings / RecPod, you can now more easily correct the linking between meeting participants (users and guests) and utterances.

    With this release, linking users from voice evaluations has been discontinued.

MiiTel Call Center

  • improvement Made the queue details screen easier to use (night of Mar 18)

    The queue details screen now also displays Queue name and User group name.

    In addition, you can now change the queue order to By elapsed time, By circuit name, By queue name, or By user group name.

Release Updates for the Week of March 9, 2026

The following updates were released this week. 🎉

MiiTel Phone

  • New Feature Selectable Salesforce integration target object (Night of March 11)
    Previously, activity history was created as a Task object. Now, you can also configure it to be created as an Activity Event object.

MiiTel Call Center

  • New feature Added “Outgoing call (average time)” to the real-time monitor user list (Night of March 12)
    By visualizing each member’s average calling pace, it becomes easier to forecast progress, allocate resources efficiently based on the situation, and manage goals. With this addition, the existing Average call duration has been renamed to Incoming call (average time).

General

Click to Call from phone numbers on HubSpot records will be disabled in MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension (additional setup will be required)

On the night of March 12, 2026 (Thu), to prevent duplicate outgoing calls made by using both MiiTel Phone for HubSpot and MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension, Click to Call from phone numbers on HubSpot records will be disabled in MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension by default.

After the release on the night of March 12, 2026 (Thu), to use Click to Call from phone numbers in HubSpot records with MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension, please enable the option in MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension settings.

  • Customers who use Click to Call from phone numbers in HubSpot records via MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension

Details

We will add a new option, Enable in HubSpot, to the MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension settings.

This option will be disabled by default, which means Click to call from phone numbers on HubSpot records will be disabled in MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension unless you enable it.

Required action for customers

1. If you use only MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension and you use Click to call from phone numbers on HubSpot records

After the release, go to How to set up MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension and check Enable in HubSpot.

2. If you use MiiTel Phone for HubSpot and you also use Click to call from phone numbers on HubSpot records with MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension

No action is required.

If you check Enable in HubSpot under How to set up MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension, duplicate outgoing calls may occur.

To place calls from HubSpot records, please use MiiTel Phone for HubSpot without enabling that option.

Release Updates for the Week of February 23, 2026

The following updates were released this week. 🎉

MiiTel Phone

  • SPECIFICATION CHANGE Follow-up email creation moved to "Ask Copilot" in Call History (Evening of Feb 25)
    Depending on your plan, the timing of the switch to the new feature and whether you can continue using the feature after Ask AI (beta) ends may differ. For more details, see “Create a follow-up email” will be available in Call History under “Ask Copilot”.
  • NEW FEATURE Added link to HubSpot activities within Call history and Call history list (Evening of February 25)
    Links to HubSpot activities (containing Call History URLs and other data) are now displayed in both Call History and the Call History List, making it easier to review your activities in HubSpot. 

MiiTel Call Center

  • SPECIFICATION CHANGEAdded "Login time" to the real-time monitor (Evening of Feb 26)
    "Login time" will now be displayed within the cumulative time sections of the "User List" and "User details" in the real-time monitor. This allows for a more detailed, real-time understanding of operator activity.

MiiTel Synapse (Copilt)

  • NEW FEATURE Follow-up email creation prompts can now be customized (Evening of Feb 25)

    In MiiTel Admin under Copilot > Follow-up email creation, you can now edit the prompts used when creating follow-up emails. This allows you to generate emails in your company's specific format or incorporate templates based on call content.

To provide a stable MiiTel service, we will be performing maintenance on the MiiTel system on March 23, 2026 (Mon). During the maintenance period, the MiiTel services will be unavailable for approximately 1 minute.

  • Reloading MiiTel Phone will display a reconnection screen.

MiiTel Admin

  • Users may be unable to create, change, or view settings.

Predictive dialer

  • Outgoing calls will be unavailable.

Changes to supported OS and app versions for MiiTel mobile apps

We will be changing the supported OS versions and app versions for MiiTel Phone Mobile and MiiTel RecPod on the following dates. If you are using an environment that will no longer be supported, please update your device or app by the specified deadlines.

Renewed Queue Settings Screen

The Queue settings screen has been redesigned to be more intuitive and user-friendly. This update improves the overall organization of settings and provides better visual clarity.

Organization of Setting Items

Setting items are now categorized into three clear sections: "Basic information," "Waiting setting," and "User call setting”. This structure makes it easier to understand the purpose of each setting.

Visualization of Call Image

A "Call Image" diagram has been added to the bottom of the screen. You can now see at a glance how your settings for "Maximum wait time (sec)," "Maximum ring time," and "Retry interval (seconds)" will work in practice.

Announcement regarding Update to "[Important] Please transfer local data when the MiiTel service domain changes." – Addition of MiiTel Phone for Salesforce and JavaScript Widget

We have added specific information for users of MiiTel Phone for Salesforce and JavaScript Widget to the Timing of Action Required section in our previous announcement published on January 23, 2026: "[Important] Please transfer local data when the MiiTel service domain changes."

For users of MiiTel Phone for Salesforce and JavaScript Widget, the timing for local data migration differs from other MiiTel services. Details are as follows:

Update Details

Before Update
When the "MiiTel Old Domain Settings Data Transfer" dialog box appears on or after February 23, 2026 (Mon).

After Update
When the "MiiTel Old Domain Settings Data Transfer" dialog box appears on or after February 23, 2026 (Mon).
For users of MiiTel Phone for Salesforce and JavaScript Widget

MiiTel Phone for Salesforce and JavaScript Widget will begin operating on the new domain only after you have made the following changes. (Until these changes are made, they will continue to function correctly on the old domain.)
Therefore, unlike other MiiTel services, the "MiiTel Old Domain Settings Data Transfer" dialog will appear when you access MiiTel Phone for Salesforce or the JavaScript Widget after these changes have been made.

  • MiiTel Phone for Salesforce
    The "CTI Adapter URL" setting within the "Call Center Definition" on the Salesforce side.
  • JavaScript Widget
    The "Embed code (containing api.miitel.jp in the src attribute)" within your program.

Important: No action is required at this time regarding the above.
We will provide further details on the specific update procedures and schedule in a separate announcement.

[Important] Request for re-confirmation of communication permission settings due to MiiTel service domain change

To ensure service stability, we are updating our system configuration and will be migrating the MiiTel service domain from *.miitel.jp to *.miitel.com starting February 23, 2026 (Mon).

Reference: [Important] Change of MiiTel Service Domain

Please reconfirm the following actions in response to this domain change.

Customers requiring actions

By February 22, 2026 (Sun):

  1. Allow Communication to "*.miitel.com"

    Depending on your usage environment, configuration may be required at various points other than routers and proxies.
    Please ensure you check the following settings to prevent connection issues due to configuration omissions. For detailed settings, please consult with your company’s network administrator. In addition to the network management department, you may also be required to deal with the computer and mobile management departments.

    Domains requiring access permission:
    Please permit traffic for the following domains and add them to your allowlist.
    Do not delete current settings; keep both allowed.
    - Domain to add: *.miitel.com
    - Remain current domain: *.miitel.jp

    Examples of Areas Requiring Configuration
    In addition to network pathways, domain-based connectivity permissions may be required at various points. Please check the following items according to the products you use.
    When using MiiTel Phone Desktop:
     Settings for firewalls (such as Windows Defender), security software, and EDR on the computer itself.
    When using MiiTel Phone Mobile or MiiTel RecPod:
     Configuration profiles and restriction settings via MDM (Mobile Device Management).

    * If you continue to use the old version, the operation and data will not be reflected correctly.

    • MiiTel Phone Mobile for Android: v.3.1.11 and earlier
    • MiiTel Phone Mobile for iOS: v.3.1.9 and earlier
  3. Update the MiiTel RecPod
    If you are using the following versions, please update to the latest version.

    * If you continue to use the old version, the operation and data will not be reflected correctly.

    • MiiTel RecPod for Android: v.25.10.01 and earlier
    • MiiTel RecPod for iOS: v.25.10.01 and earlier

From February 23, 2026 (Mon) onwards:

MiiTel service domains will be changed gradually from February 23.

When you log in to the MiiTel service, if the "MiiTel Old Domain Settings Data Transfer" dialog appears, please proceed with the local data migration. This procedure is required for each computer and each user.

FAQ

  • Will the domain change affect service availability?

    No.
    There will be no specific impact, and you can continue to use the service as usual.
    The transition to the new domain in your environment will take effect after you log in, following our internal system update.

    1. We transition to the new domain internally
    2. User logs in (or re-logs in)
    3. Environment switches to the new domain
    4. Data migration dialog is displayed.

  Note: You can continue using the service on the current domain until you log in after step 1.

  • Will there be any changes to network ports or IP addresses?
    No.
    There are no changes to network ports or destination IP addresses for voice traffic.
  • Is any action required for external integrations like Salesforce?
    No.
    Changes on the external service side are not required for this domain change.
    If you are using MiiTel Phone for Salesforce or MiiTel for Salesforce, it will be necessary to register the new domain in Trusted URLs and update to define a call center on the Salesforce side. However, nothing is required right now.
    We will provide a separate notification regarding these additions and changes in Salesforce later.
  • Will this affect external integration services such as Salesforce activity history?

    Due to the domain change, the URLs for call and meeting histories integrated with or sent to the following services will be updated to the new domain:

    ・Salesforce and kintone activity history

    ・HubSpot activities

    ・Slack, email, Zapier
    Please note that any activity histories, activities, and URLs created or sent before the domain change will remain unchanged (they will stay on the current(old) domain URL).
    Redirects will remain in place until approximately April 2027. During this period, accessing an old URL will automatically take you to the corresponding history page on the new domain. (Note: A MiiTel login screen may appear upon access.)

  • Is it necessary to change Single Sign-On (SSO) settings?
    No.
    No changes are required at this time.
  • Do I need to update bookmarked MiiTel URLs in my browser?
    Yes.
    While old URLs will automatically redirect until approximately April 2027, please register the new URLs once you confirm that the browser address bar has changed to *.miitel.com.
  • Is any action required for JavaScript Widget, Outgoing Webhook, Incoming Webhook, or MiiTel Open API? 
    No. 
    In the future, you will need to switch to URLs corresponding to the new domain, but no action is required at this time. We will provide a separate notification about these changes later.
