We have corrected "Affected customers".

Effective Wednesday, July 22, 2026, when a meeting bot joins Google Meet, its participant panel will no longer be displayed.

The meeting bot will continue to appear in the Google Meet participant list. This change only affects the participant panel.

This makes it less likely that the meeting bot will be confused with actual participants.

Currently, as shown in the image below, the meeting bot’s participant panel is displayed when the meeting bot joins Google Meet.

Effective as of Wednesday, July 22, 2026, even if the meeting bot joins Google Meet, the participant panel will no longer be displayed.
